Let's share our experiences !!! I just wanted to start a page for those who are getting ready for Macomb Nursing program 2014.
I actually applied this year(2013) for the first time. Unfortunately I was't accepted, but I am hoping to be accepted next year! I want to share my experiences, and meet people who are also applying.
I have completed all the prerequisites, and I plan to retake the Hesi test sometime this year.
Does anyone know how log they give you to put down your deposit/fee after getting accepted? Because if it's by the end of the month like i thought they are cutting it close! Of course i don't know if i'll get accepted but i like to be prepared, this wait is killing me.
They are training a new person who is going to take over this process moving forward, so it's taking longer. I was told they actually have until May 15th to send them out! Can you imagine! Don't fret, she was pretty sure they will go out Monday. She gave me her phone number to call her Monday in the enrollment office. I'll be sure to post an update for all of you!

Last year we had a week to pay the 100 fee I think! I was so excited to claim my spot I drove straight to the school with the letter still in hand! I'm excited for you guys!
Yeah it will say please pay by ___ I think it was May 1st but I don't remember for sure. You can also go straight to get your rank but it's highly off from what it will really be. Expect to wait a while for your start date. Our letters said "by the end of June" when in reality we didn't get our start date letters until July 2nd.
I can't wait to just know. I am going to go straight out pay the fee and find out my rank. Then I am going to look for all white shoes and a new backpack. :)
