Hi all! I noticed that we don't yet have a forum for prospective nursing students for Macomb Community College's 2021 application season. Hopefully this can be a place for all of us to talk about the program, provide study / testing tips, and get to know each other virtually before the program begins.
I just got my acceptance letter! You guys, this is so unbelievably exciting, and I cannot wait to "meet" you at orientation in a few weeks. Congratulations to all who made it.
Also, in order to help out the 2022 applicants, I'm going to post my scores so they can get an idea of what's "good enough". I hope a few of you will join me in doing so.
GPA: 4.0
TEAS: 89

It seems like they're keeping rankings close to the chest (for now anyways). I'm dying to know what my # is, but I don't think they're releasing that info until start dates are assigned.
What I DO know from previous admission cycles is that alternates typically have a good chance of making it in because, for whatever reason, not all 160 that are accepted end up committing to the program. I wish you the absolute best of luck!

Congratulations! I'm so happy for you. Does anybody know how they decide start dates? Is it solely based on ranking, or are there other factors involved?

Oh my gosh - that's great news! Thanks for sharing. I'm pretty optimistic about my chances, but the wait is still killing me. Good luck to everyone!
