Macomb Community College 2021 nursing cycle

I took the test on December 15. I didn’t score well at all I scored a 68 so I’m out this go around. I’m horrible at math and I scored the lowest in that section but did OK in everything else. The science portion I scored a 76%.

Does anyone know if Macomb takes the cumulative score or individual scores for entrance?

I take my TEAS test today?

Macomb only looks at the cumulative score, with a cutoff of 70%. I believe you can score lower than that on any one individual subject, but the cumulative must be above 70.

Don't give up! You will do great next time! What did you use to study for math?

I'm sorry to hear that. It was a tough exam, for sure. If you're going to try again next year, maybe you could take MATH 0070 at the campus? I think that's the class that goes over all of the math that shows up on the TEAS.

Janel2586. Look into Schoolcraft College in Livonia- their cutoff is 60%. They accept all scores from ATI. Hope this helps.

Thanks so much. I passed with a 72%!! I’m on cloud 9...... I have to stop doubting myself. I will suggest everyone to start sooner than I did. 1 month wasn’t easy but I did it!

This is good to know! I am disappointed with my score but I made enough to apply hoping my 4.0 will carry me through

Congrats on your score!! I'm taking mine on Friday. How was the math and science?

I been focusing a lot on the systems. Hopefully that is enough. Was it a lot of Chemistry?

Thank you ! I used the online TEAS practice portion with the book but it wasn’t helping that much. I ordered the TEAS Secrets book which helped but the issue is I ordered it a week before my test.
