Hey everyone,
I am reapplying to Lake Wa for winter quarter I did not get in for Fall. Was wondering how people are liking the program that are in it already?
I scored about 72 points total so I am retaking my Teas and redoing my essay for hopefully more points. Also nervous about the amount of people applying since Fall had over 120 applicants. I also heard that tuition is higher now but still would like to go here. If anyone could give me info on how they are liking the program so far that would be great.
Thank you
I thought I wrote a damn good essay and and I only got like 23.5 on it. Not exactly sure where I went wrong cause I like I said I thought it was pretty awesome but still willing to send if you're interested.
Hey there! My email is [email protected]. I'm applying for the spring 2018 quarter nursing program at LWIT and the essay is my biggest concern. If you could send me yours as an example, that'd be amazing.
Hello!I applied for Fall 2017 . My teas score wasn't as high as I would like. But the testing lady stated the lowest score she seen get into the program was a 44. I am above that. My GPA is about a 3.62 . I hope I get in.
Did you get in Lwtech ? b/c I have the same thing and I applied for Spring
Hi! That's a really great score! My teas was my biggest downfall but I can't take it again until
June. I went and saw a nursing advisor about my essay. He said that it was too personal and that I needed to be more technical and detailed about what I learned and how I would apply it in nursing school and as a nurse. So I pretty much rewrote my entire essay. My friend got in with a score of 84, I think it depends who else is applying. Have you applied to LWTECH before?
I'm sorry to hear that! Long story but I did running start and had planned on going to nursing school in 2015, so I took the TEAS then and got in the 70s without studying so I knew it was something I was gonna need to study for! I ended up getting my Bachelors in a different field. But when I took the TEAS this time I studied for a little over a month with the manual as well as their online tests. It was expensive, but worth the score! This is my first time applying to LWTech! Is it your first time?
And I didn't know that about the essay. I made mine somewhat personal but tied in nursing to everything I learned so hopefully that's okay! I'm fairly nervous just because I tend to worry!

Hi! I applied for Lake Washington for fall and didn't get in because of my essay. I only got 19 out of 25 and I thought that I had done a great job on it. Would anyone who got 25 out of 25 be willing to e-mail their essay so I can see what I did wrong? It would be much appreciated!
