Worse than a waiting list, almost all the CC's around here go by lottery. There are several private schools for LVN programs. There's NCP Vocational ($22,000), Gurnick Academy ($22,000), Unitek (almost $30,000) Western Career College ($41,000), and a few others. They are all listed on the state board's website.

THANKS so much for the info! I will add this to a thread I just started for people looking for tuition info.

Hi,
I really want to stay in CA to do my schooling and career, but need to move from L.A. I decided I'm going to just find another place in Cali. Most likely the San Fran area. I need some info on LVN programs that don't have waiting lists, pre-reqs etc, so I guess a Vocational college, that will be less than 18 months. I have been finding a lot of the schools in this area on this site are CC's, not looking for that unless they don't have a wait list etc.
If possible also tell me an estimate tuition, since it will be like pulling teeth to get finance info over the phone from them.
THANKS
