Any school nurses that are LVN s?
Is there an RN above you that you report to? Are you both in the same building and what reports or in what situations do you contact your RN?
I'M CURRENTLY in a School With 200 Kids AND THere Is No RN ABOVE me but little pay....there's a job opening at my child's school with a RN above the LVN and wanted to know what's like.

Let me rephrase.....
The administrator is an retired RN and keeps license current
I understand we LVN CANNOT be on our own....

I feel pretty ALONE...
The "Contract Nurse RN" is here maybe 2 hrs once a week. I try to get her involved only when I cannot handle something myself, which isnt a whole lot, thank goodness. Right now im dealing with a kid who refuses his ADD meds- is on a 504, but admin won't answer any emails, and RN says she doesnt want anymore involment until admin takes over cause there is a 504
I am currently filling out new hire paperwork for a new job working mental health

Whew, that part's good, but kinda cheap, I think.
