Lvn at lone star montgomery

Published

I just took the HESI for Lone Star Montgomery and I am trying to get into the LVN program. The maximum score to get in the program is 8 points (4 if you make an A on Biology and 4 for HESI). I have an A on Biology 2404 which gives me 4 points and 3.74 points on the HESI, which give me a total of 7.74 out of 8. I am kind of nervous and I am wondering if I will be accepted for the LVN program at Lone Star Montgomery for the year 2010.

Any response or feedback will be greatly appreciated. Anyone applying for the 2010 LVN at Lone Star Montgomery is welcome to give their thoughts.

Thanks.

I was told anything above 7 is a for sure. I have a total of 6.5 and I am the one that should be worried, you WILL make. Does anyone no if a 6.5 has ever gotten in. my B in AP is what brought me down a point.

When I asked the nursing office about the lowest points they accepted last year for the LVN program, they told me that they accepted down to 6.5. Remember, every year is different and it all depends on the number of students applying and how many points each got, they will choose the 24 students with the highest points.

Well I feel a little better after seeing the last post. I have tried so hard to get my grades up. So maybe Ill get in with a 6.5...I really really hope so. It sucks because if only I would have made an A in AP I would be up to a 7.5.

Don't worry, you will be fine. I think we will be in the same program.

Hey Papis (or anyone else who can lend some insight) did you get in with your scores after all?

I am applying to kingwood campus right now and would like to know!

I scored 7.81 out of 8 for my application...my nerves are shot in anticipation.
