  1. Yes I am thrilled and I am looking forward to starting the program. To answer HersheyKissy, I applied for Lone Star Montgomery college in The Woodlands TX. As for Heathers21, don't worry, you will be accepted in the ADN program, trust me, I can feel it....... just hang on.
  2. I received my letter of acceptance today, I am so excited. Let me know when you receive your letter and good luck.
  3. I called Montgomery today and they told me that they would put the letters i the mail today Friday 02/19, applicants should receive them early next week, good luck!!! I am nervously waiting for mine....
  4. Don't worry, you will be fine. I think we will be in the same program.
  5. I don't live in Dallas but over here in Houston, it is almost impossible to get a CNA job anywhere. I just graduated from a CNA program and passed the State license but I can not find a CNA job anywhere. I regret spending the money on the CNA program. No matter what the teachers tell you, there is no CNA job out there, go for LVN or medical assistant, you will be better off. CNA classes, waste of time.
  6. When I asked the nursing office about the lowest points they accepted last year for the LVN program, they told me that they accepted down to 6.5. Remember, every year is different and it all depends on the number of students applying and how many points each got, they will choose the 24 students with the highest points.
  7. I just took the HESI for Lone Star Montgomery and I am trying to get into the LVN program. The maximum score to get in the program is 8 points (4 if you make an A on Biology and 4 for HESI). I have an A on Biology 2404 which gives me 4 points and 3.74 points on the HESI, which give me a total of 7.74 out of 8. I am kind of nervous and I am wondering if I will be accepted for the LVN program at Lone Star Montgomery for the year 2010. Any response or feedback will be greatly appreciated. Anyone applying for the 2010 LVN at Lone Star Montgomery is welcome to give their thoughts. Thanks.
