LVN first time renewal California

Hi, I first got my LVN license last year Jun 20, 2019. According to the DCA website says my license expires on August this year. I went to the BVNPT website for renewal requirements and says that for first time renewals you do not need to submit any CEU. So my questions is, how do we renew it, just by sending a form? Sorry im a bit confused, hoping anyone who went through this would help! Thanks!

Since you don't need to renew you do not have to send them anything since it's your first time but to be sure, I don't remember sending anything on my first time, it might be different now but email the board and let them know if there is anything you need to send to them to renew your first time.

You should have received a reminder letter for renewal with instructions on what to do. Last I remember you go on the BVNPT website and do it there. You can also contact them and ask them what is the best way.

You probably had your question answered? If not,go to the bento website and renew your license there. You don’t need to submit ceu units for your first renewal.
