Hi!
I also applied to the hem/onc listing and when I went to check on my application status today I saw that my application to the hem/onc team was also not registered in their system, but my other 2 applications were. When you called HR were they able to do anything for you about this?
Also, I have a friend that applied to the NICU and she was contacted already for an interview late last week but that is the only information that I have heard!
Good luck! :)
I got through to HR yesterday afternoon. They said not to worry, but no one checked on my application to be 100% sure. It's good to hear that you also applied to hem/onc.
Good for your friend! HR told me to expect to hear something by the end of next week. If we don't hear anything, we should expect a rejection notice within the next month or so.
Best of luck to you!
I applied to PICU and CCU on May 1 and have also not heard anything from HR.
I also had some trouble with their online system and called HR after I submitted my app to confirm that they had the PDF version of my resume, which they did (although I could no long see it in the system after I uploaded it). Right now if I login to the old system it is blank under the "current stage" column.
Good luck everyone!
I got an email about an interview at the very end of last week! I only applied to the hem/onc listing and believe that different units get back to you at different times. Also, HR told me that they would be reaching out through the end of this week. Anyway, this means that they definitely received our applications. Good luck to everyone-I hope you hear back soon!
I applied May 1st to three different tracks (hem onc & resource team, acute care, and critical care) and still haven't heard anything back. I'm applying from out of state. Is it just me or is it difficult for a new grad nurse to find a job in Chicago? Any tips for someone from out of state? Good luck to everyone!

Hello everyone! I applied to Lurie Children's new grad internship on May 1, 2018. I applied for the hem/onc and resource pool listing. I know that interviews are supposed to be held in June and was wondering if anyone had heard anything yet.
I had problems with their online application (my resume was invisible) but HR assured me that everything was fine. I recently tried to check my status and found that I am no longer registered in their system; they updated everything mid-May. I tried contacting HR without luck. I'm a bit worried because when a similar thing happened to me in PA, they had completely lost my application.
Is anyone else in the same boat? Also, is anyone else applying from out of state?
