Lurie Children's New Grad RN Internship - Fall 2018

Hello everyone! I applied to Lurie Children's new grad internship on May 1, 2018. I applied for the hem/onc and resource pool listing. I know that interviews are supposed to be held in June and was wondering if anyone had heard anything yet.

I had problems with their online application (my resume was invisible) but HR assured me that everything was fine. I recently tried to check my status and found that I am no longer registered in their system; they updated everything mid-May. I tried contacting HR without luck. I'm a bit worried because when a similar thing happened to me in PA, they had completely lost my application.

Is anyone else in the same boat? Also, is anyone else applying from out of state?

does anyone know if Lurie's made all of the calls last week and filled positions for all of the units? They told me three weeks at my interview which would put me at this week, but i'm still waiting to hear back. I interviewed for the neurology floor and keep convincing myself they haven't filled all the spots yet.

i received an offer last week and haven't heard anything about the next steps either! glad i'm not the only one. hoping they reach out again soon with more info

I also had an interview with Neurology floor and haven't heard back so I'm hoping they're still extending offers!

Has anyone interviewed for General med/ pulm and either received an offer or a rejection email? I have only seen/heard of 1 general med offer that was posted from a friend of a friend that received the offer.

I was also extended an offer last week and I emailed asking about when we would get more information about next steps, and the HR rep said no later than Monday the 16th they'll have sent out all the offer details/info!

hi! congrats to all who got offers. im starting in hem/onc in October and was wondering if any sort of Facebook page or group?! trying to meet some new faces!

I'm also starting in October and was hoping there would be a FB group for that reason too!! I tried searching to see if one was made though and didn't find anything :/

Is anyone starting this Monday the 6th? If so, anyone get any other information about orientation or just the paragraph at the bottom of the offer letter??
