Hello!
I am about to graduate from nursing school this may and was wondering if anyone knows how competitive it is to get accepted into Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago's RN internship/new grad program? It has been a dream of mine to work there and was curious how many people they accept.
Thanks!

I only got 1 interview out of the 2 units I applied to. For my unit, I was offered an interview only 2 weeks before the actual interview (it was also a few weeks after the application had closed) and then heard back a little less than two weeks after my interview (they told me that timeframe at the end of the interview and thats for every unit) when I was offered the position. I heard that different units contact at different times before the interview too! if anybody has any questions you can always ask me ?
Any tips on interview questions by chance?? I have an interview next week for the PICU:)
yay congratulations @bsnnurse5!! does anyone know if the inpatient units (not the ICUs) like gen med, surgical, etc have sent out interview invites as well?

Hi! I totally am not good at interviews but I told myself not to put too much pressure on myself going in knowing this was the job I really wanted and knew it was competetive which took a weight off my shoulders. I would say look up interview questions (typical ones) and take notes for each question and do your research on the website. honestly, just be yourself in the interview, I stumbled over my words and didn't have everything reheorificed, I think it comes off more natural ? you can always DM me too!

I was told that the NICU doesn't look at any applications where they aren't ranked #1 out of the choices because of the number of applications they get
