Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago

Hello!

I am about to graduate from nursing school this may and was wondering if anyone knows how competitive it is to get accepted into Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago's RN internship/new grad program? It has been a dream of mine to work there and was curious how many people they accept.

I reached out to the recruiter at the end of the day and she said all offers went out, at least on Gen Med ?

@Illinoisnurse831 let us know what they say? I’m also waiting to hear back from CICU - interviewed on 2/15 and haven’t heard anything since ?

No ? and in all my times applying to Lurie they never send out rejection emails. You just never hear back from them ?

I never actually received a rejection letter from them either. I had to reach out to the recruiter for information after they strung me along for several extra days. Also, when I asked for feedback from the interview, they didn't get back to me.

I'm really disappointed in the hiring process, and mad at myself for passing up another job while I waited for Lurie. I will not be re-applying to this program again.

I applied to start in August as well! Haven’t heard anything but my application now says under review!
