Hello!

I am about to graduate from nursing school this may and was wondering if anyone knows how competitive it is to get accepted into Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago's RN internship/new grad program? It has been a dream of mine to work there and was curious how many people they accept.

it’s okay ?? 

and it was the gen med/pulm unit

I've been following this thread since the beginning of my application journey at Lurie's and I just wanted to let you guys know that I did receive an offer for NICU yesterday afternoon. My friend also received an offer for hem/onc but her offer came later like closer to 8pm. I don't know if the other units sent out their offers yet but don't lose hope! I'm rooting for all of you guys!!

Thank you so much! I personally don’t know anyone who has applied for CCU or PICU to ask but I’m hoping for the best for you all!

Do you mind sharing some of your credentials? We’re you guys internal or external candidates? Did you guys go to school in Chicago?

of course! I actually don't have any credentials aside from the basic ones we need for nursing school. I have my BSN and I am BLS certified. Aside from that neither of us have extra credentials just yet. We were also both external candidates and we both attended school at Chamberlain in Addison, IL.

I am still waiting to hear back as well. I think maybe they made initial offers last Friday, and based on whether or not those people accept the offers, some more spots may open. At least that is what the recruiter said for Gen Med/Pulm ?  She said I would hear back by today.

I'm also still waiting to hear back/: I was planning on calling tomorrow just to find out if any more offers are going to be sent out or if it's done.
