Lucile Packard New Grad RN Nurse Residency 2014

Hi everyone! I'm a recent graduate of the University of Virginia's nursing school, and am really interested in working at Lucile Packard! I haven't been able to find much information about the program, including who to contact for more information, so I figured I'd try to at least connect with other new grads in my shoes. Anyone else thinking of applying here? Do you guys know anything about when we can apply or anything?

Hey guys,

I just got back from a versant post-immersion meeting and got the following info:

*LPCH is hiring 12-13 residents

*400 plus applied and 70-72 will be invited to the panel interview

*panel interviews will commence in 2 weeks, unit interviews thereafter

*candidates hired will be notified mid August or sooner

*Units that are hiring: Maternity (2), L&D (2), ICN (1), HemeOnc (3) Peds Acute Care: 3W (1), 3E (1), 3S (1), and maybe 1 in the PACU.

Mommy_endeavor, I don't think they have. They're expecting to have things finalized in a day or two.

oaknurse, No problem! I would say late this week or early next week? When I applied last year, I got a call from HR 10 days prior to my panel interview.

Which units did you pick?

Maternity and L&D, but I also love peds so I'd be happy with anything at LPCH.

Hey guys,

HR will start calling on Monday, July 14, and panel interviews will be held on July 22, 23, and 24.
