Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital New Grad RN Residency- Fall 2020

Hi! Does anyone know if LPCH will still be opening up their new grad app for the Fall 2020 cohort or if it will be delayed due to the pandemic? I know the app should be opening up in April but their website still has the info from the past cohort period.

Specializes in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.

For those of us that have yet to hear back - this is the week, I can feel it! ?

I just want to hear one way or another about NICU, I'm out of the running for ICN which is fine but since they never told us if that meant we weren't in the running for NICU I'm stresssssiiinnggg over here. I hope we all hear really soon! I promise I'll tell you guys the second I hear anything.

I sent another follow-up email this morning. Will update ya'll if I hear anything as well ?

Also just want to say, this process is so stressful but I'm thankful for this thread where we can all update/vent to each other. Hope everyone has a great week!

Okay so NICU update: talked to the person I know who's there now. She says a few of the NICU managers are on vacation this week (!!) which could be why no one has heard. She said last time it took a full two weeks for everyone to hear. She also has not heard of ANYONE being offered the positions yet and offered to ask her clinical educator for us to see if anyone got an offer when she works tomorrow.

ALSO if you got an ICN interview like me you are still in the running for NICU, some people ended up getting offers from two different units last time, they offer to who they want and don't care if you've interviewed on another floor

I had my first acute care interview on the 27th and haven’t heard anything back
