LTC interview and background check

I interviewed at a LTC facility for a management position. A background check is being done which I have NO concerns about..my question is..how long does a background check take to come back? I was asked for my addresses for the past 10 yrs. There aren't many but they are in 2 different states. Thanks!

    It could be anywhere from 1 week to 30 days. Hopefully one week, but I have had them take longer.

    Thank you for responding - I am SO hoping for this position. She interviewed me for 1 1/2 hours, took me on a tour, introduced me to several people in management positions then said she would like to do the background check so once she decided she could make the offer pending of course the drug test. She said she had a few other interviews but would get back to me in about a week either way. Thanks again:)

    In PA, it can take several minutes... for someone with a clean record.

    It all depends on the 9-5 state employees. Around here it is about a week's time. HR re-contacts them if it takes longer.
