Hello from California! Thought it was time to create a thread for those applying for LSU's 2018 Fall BSN program. This thread is set up for hopes of meeting (comparing info) with future students, and would love feedback from those that have applied before and or are currently in the LSU BSN program.
Couple of questions:
Where you from (though I am sure most are from the LA area, I am coming from San Diego, military spouse)?
Where are you currently going to school?
Have you taken the HESI yet? If so how was it? Study recommendations?
Are you currently an EMT/CNA/RNA or any other form health provider?
I am personally super excited, beyond nervous, and honestly have my head down working my bum off to get up to this point.
Looking forward to getting to know everyone. Also I know myself and others would GREATLY appreciate any information (average GPA's, HESI scores, personalities, interview process, essay questions) from current or past students.
Okay nice it would make sense for us to get the NursingCAS email first. I wonder if we'll hear anything by this week. Anyway, is everyone in this thread not dorming up?
I also applied this semester and am waiting to hear back too. I applied last semester and was waitlist and then didn't get in so i am hoping i can get in this time. I thought i had remembered them saying we would hear back the second week of april which should be this week. I agree we should definitely make a fb page for everyone who is admitted. hopefully we will hear back soon!
I got mine too! I was about to let you guys know as soon as I got it but I forgot when I got home lol. We should be getting the physical letter soon right? I'm not sure if I should just print out the acceptance form they sent us and bring that with our $50 fee.
I think we are supposed to get the letter in the mail by next week. I'm printing mine off and dropping it off in person, too paranoid to leave it up to the mailman.
I am taking in the emailed one bc during the tour they said the mailed one could take a couple weeks longer to get to us. So I don't want to risk it getting anywhere need the deadline. Im going today to take it all.
