I wasn't able to find a thread for LSU 2021 so thought I'd get one started.
Interviewed today. Bombed one of my clinical questions (asked by an SRNA) that I easily knew. The panel overall seemed rushed and uninterested with the interviewing process. Did not even ask why I wanted to be a CRNA. I think I was done in 8 mins, which seems like such a short amount of time to get to know someone ?. I hope the rest of you all do great!

Why do you feel like you bombed it? Did you answer everything else?
Yes everything else went well, I feel like. But that was still 50% of my clinical questions. ??♀️ They were laid back, like you said, but I just didn’t have a great feeling about how it went. They definitely talked more than they allowed me to, so I don’t feel like they got to know me based on 4 mins of speaking LOL

Well I would just stay positive. That all I’m doing and trying to be patient. October seems like forever away

Wow that sounds so nerve-wracking. To put so much time and effort into preparing then to feel like that. Sorry your interview felt that way to you, but I hope it went better than you think! Thanks so much for sharing your experience.
Yes. That’s what I was told 250 candidates. But I think that’s typical for LSU. I went there for undergrad and it was a lot of applicants for the BSN program. Anyway I think the best thing to do is just keep applying. They told me we won’t hear anything back until 2nd or 3rd week of October

Yikes. Definitely keep applying and how for the best

Do you remember the names of the faculty interviewing you? I didn’t think to write them down. But I’m now realizing I don’t think the program director was in my interview based on her website picture.

I haven’t received an interview yet. But good luck to those who have!
