Hello!

I wanted to start a thread for all of us applying to LSU’s CRNA program starting in 2020. Past forums have seemed to be helpful in keeping up with timelines and connecting with one another. Can’t believe it’s time, but here we go!

@jillsville So odd... I emailed Ms. Dukes and she confirmed my application was complete, but I didn't include a picture.

I want to say that I didn’t. However, The other schools I have interviews with, all asked for pictures.

I just checked my application in nursing as and I did include a picture as an attachment. In was in the same area as my certification PDFs.

Does anyone have any insight to the interview process? Is it a bunch of mini interviews?

Does anyone know about how many people apply each year?

@jshtoole I’ve heard that LSU’s interview is very laid back. They ask mostly personal questions and maybe one or two clinical questions. On the other hand, I’ve heard OLOL’s interview is intense and that they drill on you what you should know based off your experience and things you say. So basically I’ve been told to only say things you’re comfortable talking about and things you know backwards and forwards.
