Hello all! I wanted to put out feelers and see who was applying for LSU's 2018 CRNA program. I submitted a personal check for the supplemental application and it has not been cashed. Do they accept personal checks or should I have submitted a money order or cashier's check? They usually call for interviews after the deadline, correct? Let's keep each other posted. I would love to hear from other applicants!

I applied also. I think the personal check is fine. That is what I sent too. When I inquired about my application, I was told everything was complete. I am taking that as my payment method was acceptable.

Cool. I was starting to get worried. They are a bit slow on the correspondence. I still have not received confirmation that my payment was received. I am waiting to see if the check will be cashed. If I don't get a reply by Wednesday, I am going to call them to confirm that I don't need to send another form of payment. The waiting game with these schools is unnerving.

The program can be kind of slow at processing so be patient. I'm a current student, feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

I applied as well. After Aug. 1st, does anyone know how long they take to get back to us if we have interviews?

Hopefully it will be soon. In the past, according to the boards it was a few weeks after the application deadline that folks were contacted for interviews. That time frame for me is too long, but they need time to actually look at the applicant's files so I can be patient for that.
