Hi everybody,

Im new to this site and could really use some advice. Im starting LSU traditional BSN program. Was wondering if anyone has any advice about what to expect and what I should do to prepare. Also if anyone is actually a student at LSU that would help or if they are starting in the Fall as well.

thats awesome for us! umm i think the advising seesion is one on one like you and just ur advisor, but im not 100% sure. We should get the packets this week..I'm hoping i will get it tomorrow, because if they mailed it monday, it take two days for me to receive it..so hopefully lol. :D

aw! its ok! as long as you kno u got in its all good! if by monday we dont have anything im going to call!...im not going to lose my spot jus because the mail didnt come in on time! my mail hasn come in yet...but ill keep u posted!

ok, so tomorrow HAS to be the day, right? haha so anyway, i'm totally in dork mode, looking at stethoscopes online!!! Can't wait:D

haha yea TOMORROWS the day!!! OMGGG me too!!! haha...ive been lookin at the badge id holders and cute nursing student tshirts and cute stethoscopes hahaha!!!! im so 100% dork mode right now too! :)

well, the mail already came and no packet from LSU.

I'm worried that since I had to contact them to get the acceptance e-mail, that I'll have to do the same to get the mailed packet. If they said "2 weeks" instead of 7 days it wouldn't be so stressful.

do you think they have any idea how crazy they are making us all?

so the mail def. came and no packet...wthhh!!! they said this week...hopefully tomorrow then. :confused: Im starting to get anxiouss! I saw that lsuhsc website under new students they changed everything for us! i printed everything out and im filling it out!! :nurse: but the first sheet is like the acceptance form. Im wondering if thats what im supposed to turn in since the packets not here?? im not sure. i guess ill call tomorrow and see! i dont want to miss the deadline and lose my spot!!

well, i don't think i'll be waiting for the packet...i think ill just print and bring in the acceptance form with my monies :)

i've got lots to do! first, i must find a primary care physician. did anyone take a look at the schedule of classes? we are in for some LONG weeks hah

anybody receive anything yet? i've got my doctors appt set for november 10th, hope that's plenty of time to get all the lab work done and turned into the school

nope nothing yet...i was gettin worried so i called friday and some lady was very rude to me saying that i didnt read my email...i thought the email said a couple of days..not almost 2 weeks. so dont try calling! yea im going monday to get my physical and vaccines!

I e-mailed this morning and said they don't send out packets any more, it is all on the web. She said we would get a letter early this week and it will tell us how to go about taking care of all the web paper work.

If you don't get it by late in the week she said to call.

so soon.

did anyone print off the forms and bring them in today?
