LSU applicants start in 2015

Hello! I'm applying to LSU crna program to start in 2015. Wanted to start a thread to get feedback from others who are also applying on their interview experience. Also I would like feedback from those who have interviewed there before and provide any information that would be helpful about the program. Thanks!

I hope we both do! I DNT think they're going to tell us where we are bc last year ppl called everyday to see if they had moved up on the list. Honestly, I just wanted to know if I was in the top 10. If not the chances are probably not in my favor.

Has anyone tried calling to see what number you're on the wait list?? I've tried calling but no one answered.. I'll probably try again later on today or tomorrow.

Hi, Rose. I was also placed on the waitlist. I found out Oct. 20th. The only info that I have is: they will contact you via phone to offer a position if one becomes available. Not quite sure my number on the waitlist also. But LSU was my top choice... So very anxious also to hear from someone... Hope all goes well for us all:)

Hey Nola Gyrl! I was told we could contact the office to find out our number on the list after October 30th..but I didn't have any luck today. Hopefully we all hear something soon.

Good luck to the people on the waitlist!!!!! Patience is the hardest thing to do in a moment like this, but be calm and don't give up hope. My friends that were on the wait list last year and the previous year were not informed about getting accepted until April when class started in May. The admissions process timeline of informing people of decisions was different this year so it can be different. Best wishes!

Hi Rose J. I still have not heard anything either after being waitlisted. Did they tell you your number on the list?? I sent an email about my placement and havent received a response yet??

I'm in at Texas Wesleyan! Started not to even go to the interview bc I was so bummed out about the LSU wait list, I just didn't think I'd get in. I already put money down to save my seat. I still have a strange feeling that I'll get a call from LSU at the last minute. That's ok, I've made up my mind to stick with TxWes and just do my DNP afterwards through the online program.

LSU called me in April when school started in May and I was 10th on the list. Congratulations btw!!!

They didn't tell me either. They said they weren't giving any numbers out because last year people kept calling to see if they had moved up in line.. So I guess we just wait and hope that we get a call. As soon as yall hear something let me know and I'll do the same.

GOD IS GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I received my call this morning of my acceptance to LSU's program!!!! I'm still ecstatic about it. I've worked really hard for this day to come and I still can't believe it! Hopefully everyone else on this forum hears the good news today as well! LSU is a great program and I have nothing but good things to say about it when interviewing. Class of 2018 represent!!!!!!!! Geaux Tigers!!!!

How do you like the program so far?
