I don't even know if I got in there. The message they left me was a 3 min long recording of a phone ringing. It was really weird... They never called back either.

I haven't received an email/call/letter. Two of my friends last year were admitted from the waitlist...I think you will prob get in ( people on this message board are saying that they got in too from it). I know my friend and I got emails about the interview on different days, so hopefully I will hear something tomorrow!

I received one too. @RoseJ do you think they sent one to everyone that interviewed and didn't get in as first choice? Is there a way we could find out what number we are? And, since they sent out the acceptance letter with the email, does that mean we need to do that too? Or is that just in case?

lol I tried to call the office with all these questions but no answer. I figured everyone was calling and maybe someone got answers?

I called also and was told that I would need to email the director to accept the alternate list status. I asked her what number I was on the list and she said to call back after October 30th to find out. I wonder how many people interviewed?? I'm hoping that it wasn't many that way we have a chance lol and the acceptance letter is just in case they call us offering us a spot.

Hey so again I haven't heard anything, do you think that means after October 30 they are going to let people know they are rejected? I have an interview next month but the program is not a doctorate...lsu is def my first choice. I heard of one girl being called today to accept but that's it. Did yall hear of others being waitlisted today? Thanks in advance, best of luck I'm sure things will work out for you.

@Blueskies149 so you think they are already calling from wait list? This is the only convo I'm finding with recent information online. So I haven't heard anything. I'm just curious to know how this process works, if being on this wait list gives me hope, or should I just move on?

seems like from this message board and what ppl have said that if you are waitlisted you have a good shot! I'm not admissions though, so I really have no idea. I just wish they would tell us more, waiting is no fun, but I guess that is the nature of the application process:(

From what I know is that everyone has until October 29 to accept or reject either their spot at lsu or being on wait list. That's why we won't know until

October 30th what number we are on that list. I haven't heard of anyone else being wait listed(but then again, this is the only place I look for updates)I hope you hear something soon.
