  1. I am November 21 in Mobile. I heard it is like a miniature CCRN. I hope the math is just like basic nursing stuff you do on a daily basis. YEEK, any info would be super helpful. Good luck to all !!
  2. seems like from this message board and what ppl have said that if you are waitlisted you have a good shot! I'm not admissions though, so I really have no idea. I just wish they would tell us more, waiting is no fun, but I guess that is the nature of the application process:(
  3. yes, I like that the nondoctorate programs are shorter and that means less living expenses and hopefully landing a job sooner after graduation. From what I could tell, it just seems that only the nursing schools that have a CRNA school have converted to a doctorate program...the others seem to not be doctorate. Are you enrolled in a nondoctorate program at this time?
  4. Hi all, I have applied to both doctorate and nondoctorate crna schools. In the event that I do not get into the doctorate program and am admitted to the nondoctorate school, is it going to work against me when I graduate to not have a doctorate of nurse anesthesia? I would not want to waste all the time and money that would be involved only to find out when I have completed the program that I am unable to find employment or that it will be looked down upon. Any thoughts or insights to this situation would be helpful. Thanks!
  5. Hey so again I haven't heard anything, do you think that means after October 30 they are going to let people know they are rejected? I have an interview next month but the program is not a doctorate...lsu is def my first choice. I heard of one girl being called today to accept but that's it. Did yall hear of others being waitlisted today? Thanks in advance, best of luck I'm sure things will work out for you.
  6. I haven't received an email/call/letter. Two of my friends last year were admitted from the waitlist...I think you will prob get in ( people on this message board are saying that they got in too from it). I know my friend and I got emails about the interview on different days, so hopefully I will hear something tomorrow!
  7. Maybe they are still calling people/deciding who to accept..I mean I have not heard of anyone getting rejected yet? It seems like they called on just Monday and Tuesday (or everyone I heard of was on those dates). Don't give up !
  8. Hi everyone, I applied to the program for lsu nurse anesthesia to start in 2015, and I have not heard anything. A few of my friends have been accepted, but I am wondering if there is still hope for me or if that means I do not get accepted? A few of my friends from last year were accepted after being waitlisted, but I have not heard anything about that even. I thought my interview went okay, but am just wondering if anyone could provide any info/insight to the situation? Waiting is now fun, but congrats to those accepted !!! You deserve it!
