Beach is super lucky she only has sociology to be CPNE eligible.

I totally get ill the day of and for a few days after it's annoying. I usually freak out and think about rescheduling and can't sleep until like right at midnight so I know for sure I had every opportunity to reschedule. This should not do that, these are just tests. These darn nerves. I actually kind of look forward to the CPNE. I am better at the hands on than the written testing.

Me too! I'm working on ls3 currently. I can not even think of the cpne! I know I will be so scared and nervous anyhow so I refuse to look or read posts or info on it until I get there...... Hope that is not going to bite me in the butt in the long run!! what r u working on now??

I've been trying to find CPNE journals to read, just to give me a better idea of WHERE to start studying, I feel really disorganized. Excelsior College workshop is coming to Orlando (about 1 hr from me) next month... but I don't know where I will find an extra $800 lying around. I do have an extra kidney?

I started reading the REA Intro to Sociology CLEP guide last night and downloaded the program to my computer. I test on 5/10, and as soon as Excelsior gets my transcripts that I passed, I will be eligible :-) I do still have my science courses to do though... but I will be within 9 credits of graduation so I figure I will chip away at the CPNE wait time with those.. have A&P scheduled on 6/7.

Good luck on LS3. In retrospect w/LS2, this one is really not that bad! :-)

Okay, any last minute advice on LS2?!! Do you feel Saunder's and the practice exams were that helpful? I doubt I will be doing the exam this Friday now, I have not even done practice exam A yet. Ugh! How do you find out where the EC workshops are going to be?

Loops, I felt Saunders was very helpful with this one since it covers so much broad and complex info. Really know your meds well, interventions and pertinent lab work. I think I saw a bit of each section from the content guide atleast once. I always think the practice tests are helpful, atleast for me, to show me where my weaker areas are. You know more than you give yourself credit for. I just schedule myself and then I've got a deadline. I take practice form A cold, and practice form B a few days to a week before. Good luck!! :-)

Here is a link to the official EC CPNE prep page, workshops are located on there:

They are more expensive than any other ones though.... I think I am going to have to stick w/my original plan, do Sheri Taylor's online workshop, Rob's CPNE DVD, buy the wound and steal the rest of the supplies from work. I am SO BROKE! :-P

Thanks Beachie!! I have been at this ALL WEEK so far  I just got off the phone with Excelsior, and I am signing up today for my BIO LAB 111 (YUCK!) to meet my 0.6 science requirement (flipping another 335 + book) and I think I am going to do Ethics with dantes, and save $$$. I wanted to CLEP analyzing & interpreting, but I only need 3 credits. The ethics didn't look TOO bad, lol! The advisor told me I needed 4 nursing exams and I had to point out to her that I didn't need to do health differences! Scary! I hope they don't miss that later when I will be FCCA ready! I am going to do Robs CD and Sheris online also, traveling is going to be tough for me.
