Nurses General Nursing

State came in a year early. I am brand spanking new to the unit and nurse management.

If I didn't have you guys to back me up and show me the ropes my tuchis would have been toast.

For running the unit, the hands-on, constant care you give, and for helping me as I floundered for a life preserver, thank you.

Thank you for recognizing our hard work

It's so awesome when the healthcare team acts like a team and recognizes each others work! Thanks for for the appreciation :)

It's rare that RN's recognize the challenging work that not only CNAs do, but also the important part LPNs have in health care. Thanks for appreciating us!

I've been an LPN. We're a chain. The aide sees something funny and tells the LPN, the LPN checks it out and starts a treatment, tells me, I defer to the fact that she's been there 14 years and knows the residents AND physicians iand most importantly how to be a NURSE inside and out and then I care plan for it.

We all care for them together. NONE of us could do it without the others.

Thanks for the recognition! After a particularly frustrating night at work with a nurse I am relieved to hear that!

You ARE the type of nurse that I love to work with! Do not think that your CNA's will not work harder if you treat them with kindness instead of barking orders!!

You sound like a true professional!

before becoming an RN I worked with hospice patients as a cna for 6 years and it truly is a hard job. When I became a nurse and until this day I will never forget what its like to be a cna and the hard work involved. I will let my cna in Home health know that if she ever has a hard time with a patient she can call me and I will help her any way I can even if it means coming there to help her, she said thanks and its not even my patient, its another nurses patient!! As for the LPN that works with me, wow she has such experience and I learn everyday from her and I'm the RN, so no ego here by no means lol

I love the cna's and lpn's I have ever worked with and admire there good spirits kudos to you all!!!!!

We all do whatever needs to be done. It works well.
