LPN SUMMER 2014 at Wright College

Published

Is anyone here applying for Wright College's LPN 2014 summer program? If so, have you taken the TEAS V Exam, and how much is your score?

Hi, I submitted my application online already and sent in my transcripts and everything. I got a 67% on the TEAS test and hoping that's good enough to get in

I also submitted my application. I got a 71% on my TEAS score. I just hope they'll be okay with my 2.75 GPA. Lets keep each other updated!

Did anyone hear anything yet from the school?

I haven't heard anything yet but I'm really hoping we all find out April 11th like they said they would !

Yes! I'm so nervous! I was hoping we can get some replies from students who are already in the program. I'm curious what their TEAS scores and GPAs were.

I actually got impatient and sent them an email yesterday. The response I received was:

Thank you for your application to the Practical Nursing program at Wilbur Wright College, one of the City Colleges of Chicago.

Please be advised, per the website (https://apps.ccc.edu/LPNursing/), acceptance emails will be sent on or about 04/11/2014.

So, I guess we just have to wait until 4/11 (this Friday) or after then.

Yeah, I tried finding some responses about the teas scores and gpas too.

So I guess we just wait now?

I read from previous students that sometimes they can receive their acceptance letters really late.

I really hope we find out this friday!

Todays April 11th!!! Ahhhh!!! Has anyone received anything?

Good luck everyone! I want to do the Nursing program at Wright but I was informed that I have to do the LPN program first and then do the Nursing program. I will start my pre-req's this fall, any advice?

Ugh! Just called them to check on any updates regarding the application. They will be delaying the acceptance letters until after Spring Break. They are making me so nervous and the program hasn't even started!!!! UGH!

Avilarulz.... Yes, you do have to do their LPN program before the nursing. It's a bridge program. I would suggest you start studying the TEAs test early on. And try to maintain As & Bs in all your prereqs.
