  1. "Yes that's an extra shift. 7. It makes the hours come out right for a 2 week pay." Hi loriangel14, wouldn't the extra shift make it over 40 hours per week? If the Saturday was a 12 hour shift it would be 42 hours per week. Unless it was an 8 hour Saturday that would bring it to an even 40.
  2. Hi all, i recently just just passed my boards and will be working as an lpn for the first time. I got hired at a nursing home working 12 hour shifts. The DON mentioned that I'll be working 3 12 hour shifts and every other Saturday. My question is, for the weeks that I work Saturday, does that count towards the 3 shifts? Or is that a separate shift? So is it 6 12 hour shifts per biweekly or 7? thanks all!
  3. Yeah, and I have to let my work schedule know what days i'm available so I was hoping to get my class schedule set already. I might go in myself this week and ask them! I just looked on my.ccc.edu for summer 2014 and searched for Nursing 150 and Nursing 152. There's a day lecture at 9-11am wed thurs and the night lecture is 430-630 on mondays and tuesdays!
  4. hey! do you know when we register for classes? I can't believe orientation is only 4 days before classes start. I am planning on taking the night lectures but my lab will be during the day.
  5. I don't remember what I put down but I am enrolling in the night lectures for the summer!
  6. I graduated with a bachelors degree at UIC so my cumulative gpa at UIC was a 3.0. All my prerequisites that I needed for the lpn program was taken there. I took anatomy 1 but I am taking anatomy 2 this summer !
  7. Just got an acceptance email from them. Hope you all got in too!
  8. Yeah, I tried finding some responses about the teas scores and gpas too. So I guess we just wait now? I read from previous students that sometimes they can receive their acceptance letters really late. I really hope we find out this friday!
  9. I haven't heard anything yet but I'm really hoping we all find out April 11th like they said they would !
  10. Hi, I submitted my application online already and sent in my transcripts and everything. I got a 67% on the TEAS test and hoping that's good enough to get in
  11. Hi KimberlyFleming, Did you end up getting into the program? I am applying for the summer 2014 program and was wondering how the application process is. I only have one course taken at Wright college and the rest of my classes I took at UIC. It says I need a cumulative GPA at a city college. Do you think I need more than one course at Wright college to get in? Thanks
