2 LPN Schools in Pa.

Hi,

This is my first post. I unfortunately was not able to complete a MCCC ADN in Pa. and now am looking at LPN training due to extreme waitlists. Does anyone have experience or info on Princeton Information Center in Glenside, PA. or Eastern Tech in Willow Grove, PA. regarding their LPN programs.

Eastern's program is closed until spring 2008 and I believe they have a good reputation. Princeton's website looks kind of "shady", but they are accredited by the PA BON.

All advice and direction is greatly appreciated!

Hi,

This is my first post as well. I was browsing saw your recent post. I graduated in Dec. 2005 from a great LPN program from the Downingtown, PA area. All of the teachers are RN,MSN prepared and the school has an excellent reputation in the area. They are also accredited. This was all very important to me. I had put a lot of time and research into an LPN school and they were the best that I had found. They also have a bridge program with two of the local colleges and one local hospital RN program (if you were to choose to go on for your RN). The name is Center for Arts and Technology Brandywine Campus or CAT-B in Coatesville, PA.

Hope this helps!

They do not have a website.

Delaware County technical school in Folcroft, Pa (also Aston, PA campus) now has a website:

http://www.dciu.org/dccte/site/default.asp

Then click on the "LPN" link.

I'm looking for a nursing school for my husband since he'll be working full time until he starts. Preferably local to Southeastern PA, but we eventually want to move somewhere warmer for my health.

Is there a waitlist or any sort for CAT-willow grove or Brandywine... How many people are accepted?

I am in Harrisburg carlisle area any schools there for an LPN? are there an accelerated classes?

PITC (in glenside pitc.edu) is not shady at all, though their website is pretty bad. It's still a good school and has 100 percent NCLEX-PN passing rate. It's not a college campus either. It's a nice place nothing special. They just got approved for financial aid as well. So more reason for people to come here.

Hi,.. Im very interested in applying to pitc's lpn program/program...did u attend there?? or did someone u know??? Im hoping to get into the february's 2011 day program,,any info is appreciated!!:jester:

This is where I'm going, I start in three months and attended orientation yesterday.

They have a 98 percent pass rate and a 98 percent placement rate.

They seem like a really great school and they're very high-tech! We get a laptop too.

What I previously said about pitc I take it all back! Lol! They are crazy! Class started out with 60 in sept. now down to 48, by clinicals apparently we should be down to 40. And by the end of the program we'll lucky if we have any people left. From what I hear from class 4, they said their class started out with 50 and ended up with 13 that passed, yes 13 and only 7 were able to take the nclex exam, and that went up to 9 now. You have to study study study! Can't be lazy! Adhere to rules or get kicked out or just fail. The program director is not as nice as she seems, but she will gladly take your money.

man thats really crazy??? so what are you going to do nw??? I have been searching for awhile..but All the good schools are too far, or have waiting list???ugh...can u email me?? thanx for all the info!!
