Other than the things that are required by the school to purchase(stethoscope, uniforms, etc.) what would you recommend for studying? Anything you were not required to purchase that really helped the learning process? TIA

Come on, anybody? I wanna know, too!! LOL

INDEX CARDS..IN BULK!!! This was my greatest study tool. I bought them in bulk at Sams Club...You will use them over and over again. I also used the Saunders Review for the NYCLEX..Kaplan is good too. Everytime we went over sections I used this book as extra and I was preparing for the NYCLEX the whole year. The CD was great and had tons of practice questions. Best Wishes :)

What about a PDA? I got one pretty cheap on eBay. I got it because I'm interested in them and like I said it was pretty cheap. But do you know if I'll get much of a chance to use it in school or in my clinicals? Oooh, I hope so because I just love little gadgets! I know, I know there's a PDA forum but I want to know what the LPNs think.
