LPN school in Cebu fast program and accredited

Published

Hi i just recently search online and i found this website...If anyone can help me out feel free to comment...

I finished caregiving and as far as i know we can do ladderized course to do nursing... I can proceed to Practical Nursing for about a year.. So can you guys recommend a good school for practical nursing which is not too much on the wallet most of the schools right now are making so much business.. It has to be credited from CHED or Tesda...

I dont really need visa for nursing I am on immigrant spousal visa to the US.. My husband is working for a petition for me so i dont really need to worry about getting nurse visa for LPN which is impossible...

I need to finish this in about a year so I can fix up my date for US Embassy

:banghead:

anyone who knows about laderrized program??? do some schools accept my caregiving classes??? Which one has good program???Any universities in the area would take about a year.... I have minors in college too

Feel free to comment

actually my husband wants me to study LPN so i can take CNA certification in texas and continue doing my nursing degree in the US... Its a stepping stone... He wants me to do LPN so i have knowledge on what they do.. and medical terminology is the same in all concept its just the education is different from here and there...

The NCLEX exam is the licensing exam for the US, the RN exam for RN licensure and the PN exam for LPN licensure. One does not just apply to sit for this exam, you must apply for licensure thru the BON of the state where you wish to work and be licensed. This is what we are trying to explain to you. Yes, it is offered in your country, but has nothing to do with licensure in the Philippines.

As Karen has posted above, Montana has very strict rules on what they will and will not accept for licensure in their state. And they are not accepting Practical Nurses that trained in your country. Next issue that you are going to have is to be accepted into an approved bridge program in the US to go on for your RN training. The majority of schools are not going to accept the LPN training done overseas as a start, and the programs normally require that one possess a current LPN license as well.

It is admirable for what your husband wants you to do, but the fact remains that it is not going to work out the way that you wish. If your goal is to be in the US in the next year or two, it would be much wiser just to attend school in the US and where you know that the training will be accepted.

You have to make the final decision, we have all given you the information that you need to make an informed decision on this.

Other question is that you mentioned working in Texas as a CNA in one post and then in the other you posted that your husband lives in Montana and that is where you are going to be living.

Texas also will be a problem if you trained in the Philippines as far as getting licensed there as well. You need to possess a CES, which is a credentials eval done by CGFNS, and they require that one has completed an approved program as well.

This is what my husband said i should go take CNA certification and proceed to study LPN and RN in the US. He wants me to learn LPN first here... so its best way to just study in the US? what about taking CNA certification and study forward to take LPN and RN... Work and study as well... Thats what his doing on fall his under the program with the Veterans affairs studying in San Antonio College......

would it be better not studying here in the philippines then????

There is a program for CNA on his school...so best thing is not going to school here either.... Well, thanks a lot in all sorry for being rude... I've seen some filipina wives giving in in taking nursing here...

It's insane how the country is flooded with nurses with no job no experience and wasted there money on schools and the school are taking it a huge amount of business

whats CES??? After his done school by 2011 where moving to montana... texas is just bad for him too many bad things happened in him while his in there...His just giving in with VA benifit and doing his GI bill by fall next year... Montana is a good place... no sales tax...people are nice

Why not take a CNA course in Texas and be with your husband and support him while he is in a place he doesn't like and school is stressful . There are many courses given in the US and they last about 6 weeks, many places will refund the tuition if you work for them.

Montana, I have never been there, I understand it is beautiful. I can understand your frustration with all the nursing students but it does guarantee they will get a job in the USA. Bottom line LPN programs in the Philippines is a rip off since you can't practice in the Philippines or the USA.
