LPN to RN at Trocaire college

Published

I was wondering, if you finish the lpn program, does that exempt you from any RN classes? I've heard that you can skip a few classes if you have your lPN licience is that true? I was asking to know if Trocaire in South Buffalo did this or if any other schools out there allow such a thing. I know that some lPN classes overlap with RN classes, therfore you don't have to take those classes once you get in the RN program...I'm not talking about that, I'm taking about skipping first semester of the RN program after getting your LPN. The classes seem similar which is why they might let you skip a semester...or it might be just a rumor. Anyone out there that can clarify this for me?
