LPN-RN program transfer credits from prism career institute

Hello,, I recently graduated from Prism Career Institute and I was wondering if any previous students enrolled in a LPN-RN program. If so did any of the credits transfer over ?? I am currently looking into the RN program at DCCC and wanted to know if anyone else has taken this course.

Hello. From what I know about dccc lpn-RN option, if your lpn school is NLN accredited, they will give you advance placement and you will receive credit for the first year of the program. I'm not sure if you anatomy 1 and 2 will transfer into dccc though. If your school is not NLN accredited(mine wasn't) you can challenge the first year of the program. Hope this helps.

And of course my school isnt NLN accredited either! So what were the results when you challenged, It looks like I am going to have to do the same .. ughhh

Your a&p will not transfer over you will have to take the actual classes and if youre in dccc nursing program, you could get a seat preserved before everyone else. You could opt out of NF, and idk what other classes. Good luck
