I know a hand full of school nurses in Northern Kentucky who are using this online school. They have said it is challenging! Hope this helps!

My former manager, an LPN/LVN in Texas since 2004, completed Excelsior at home in approximately 1 year. In May 2008 she passed NCLEX, and is officially an RN.

There's also Indiana State University, but that may be to go straight to BSN. I would check out both thoroughly as I have been asking questions and researched them. I've heard good and bad things about both. I do know 2 people who are LPNs doing the BSN at ISU. The big things I guess is that some states are choosing to not accept Excelsior's degree program because of the curriculum and the way you get your degree. Do a LOT of research because either one is very expensive.:wink2:
