I am currently a nursing student enrolled in the LPN program at SFCC. The program ends in July and I am trying to find the quickest way to get my RN. Does anyone know of any nursing schools that start RN transitions in January or if there are any schools that do all the theory classes online. I would be willing to drive for my clinical time but I would really like to skip as much actual "class time" as possible. Also, I have heard you can get your RN through Excelsior college. I have heard good and bad about going through this college so I'm not really sure what to do. Or if anyone knows of any other online nursing programs that the Florida State Board accepts. I would appreciate any pointers or any advice you could give me. If possible I would rather not wait an entire year to be able to start earning my RN. Please HELP!!!!!

I believe Polk Community College is part time and start in January. The program i heard is a lot of self study and demanding.
