Hello,

I'm just curious to see how many of us plan on applying to transition program for Summer 2017. I have already taken TEAS and I'm going to retake cause I'm not happy with my score. My overall score currently is 113. Which I'm not too happy about but I didn't study at all the first time due to work and the stress of the semester, and man that science section killed my score. I'm apply for Gary/Crownpoint and Valpo.

They also did not have online applications with automatic selections so it think the lastest the first round picks will hear back is the ninth!! The rest of the rounds should hear back by at least the 2nd and 3rd weeks of the month!! Good luck everyone!

:wideyed:

Day 1 down......hopefully 1st round picks will be done by Thursday!!!

First rounds? What u mean..

Did they start the selection process? I thought it starts tomorrow. Either way I'm excited for the rounds to begin. The sooner the better.

With the application there are 4 rounds in the selection process. 3 are auto selection rounds where they rank the scores that applied at each campus and offer seats to applicants chosen in each round. A new round starts every 7 days until the end of round 4.

Where did you hear about the first rounds, and second rounds? I never heard of that.. what is it exactly. They look at the applications and select the top scores and then what?

Ohhhh :( thanks for explaining it.

The entire process is explained on Ivy Tech's website in the nursing information session and the nursing handbook! Since we have online applications candidates are automatically selected by the computer and only the fourth round is hand selected. If you are selected in a round you will have 7 days to respond!
