Hurray! I am finished with my RN program. All I have left is NCLEX.
The Pinning Ceremony turned out nicely. I think joining this forum has helped me by making me feel like I was not alone in my struggles.

Question about NCLEX for those who were lpn and are now rn. What was the differences on the NCLEX between LPN and RN.....was LPN easier???thanks!!
bumping for reply.
I am working on requirements to fill out an application to get into Manatee County Technical Institute program for LPN. I was pre-nursing student (for RN) in MI then we moved to sunny florida for Hubby's job....so here I am.....
And I just was thinking this thought as I was filling out my paperwork and saw the fees for the NCLEX. I wondered "NCLEX? Do I have to take it TWO times?? YIKES???"
Well, now I know. Can anyone elaborate on the differences between the LPN NCLEX and the lpn-rn NCLEX ?? please? thanks :)

Congrats to all of you! Did anyone have to take the Hesi exit exam? I started my LPN-RN bridge course in Jan & will graduate in Dec. I have to take the Hesi in Oct. I have 3 chances to pass if not then have to take senior semester over again. I intend on taking it once & moving on. I need advice on how to prepare for this. I hear that if you cant pass Hesi then you cant pass NCLEX. Is this true? How different are they? PLEASE HELP!!!

Hi, I have gone from LPN to RN recently. I just took the RN boards and found out today that I had passed. I did not think that the RN boards were any harder than the LPN boards. They just had a different focus is all.I had more pharmacy on the RN boards than I did on the LPN boards. All in all both tests are just as stressfull.
