Hurray! I am finished with my RN program. All I have left is NCLEX.
The Pinning Ceremony turned out nicely. I think joining this forum has helped me by making me feel like I was not alone in my struggles.

Congratulations to you!! I know you have worked so very hard to get to where you are today...I am planning to follow the same path as you. I'm just 3 months from graduating and LVN program and will be headed to the RN in the near future...Hope you have many relaxing days ahead..you deserve it!!!

I finished the Rn program last week thursday. The pinning ceremony is this tuesday and graduation is on the 25th. I'm so happy school is over. Being an Lpn I really don't think Nclex will be tough.

Congrats!!! I was pinned last week for the LPN to RN program. I can't wait to take boards and finally be done. I am sure all of us in this boat will be fine. Best of luck to everyone.

Congrats to you all I too went from PN to RN and took the NCLEX twice. Once for PN and now for RN on 4-6-06. It made me less nervous having experienced it before. I thought the RN 2nd year was the hardest thing I have ever done but it didn't help that my husband got sick partway through nursing school plus I have 2 kids. So the challenges were pretty heavy. But I only worked in the summers because I didn't feel working was an option for me during school. I couldn't have done it without such a supportive family though. My hubby was my ever present cheerleader. I am working now and am so happy to finally have a steady pay check. It is certainly worth it!!!!!

Question about NCLEX for those who were lpn and are now rn. What was the differences on the NCLEX between LPN and RN.....was LPN easier???
thanks!!

I finished also the LPN-RN program may 5. Now I'm waiting to take boards. I've talked to a few new RN's and they said don't even waste your time studying the NCLEX books. It wasn't anything like them. Has anyone else also heard that. I'm trying to study every night after work. I'm wondering if I'm wasting my time.
