Does anyone know of any online LPN refresher courses. I cannot go to school, because I am currently living out of the USA.

Do you still hold a current license in the US, and how long has it been since you worked as an LPN in the US?
It is going to be hard to find an on-line course for this, as most have a clinical component that you have to attend.

I currenrly hold a KS & OK license. I have lived in the USA since Jan, 2000. I worked for ARC before that. I have continued to take my CEU courses 30 hours every 2 years for my KS license.
USA, are you referring to Saudi? As you stated that you were not living in the US currently..............
As long as you keep a license currect, you should be able to do a refresher or just have an extended orientation when you return to the US. What type fo job are you currently doing?

I live in Asia. I go to villages & do medical assesments try to teach them how they can improve their health/lifestyle without changing their culture. I have worked with stroke victims, heart & B/P people, etc. This is all very primitive, nothing like in the states. This is why I would like to take some online classes to keep me up to date on medical procedures & some of the new ways to do nursing. I feel like I need some more medical knowledge.

I myself am about to start an LVN Refresher Course after being gone from the field for several years.
I was unable to find one that was wholly online. This is mainly due to there being a Clinical aspect to the refresher as someone else already mentioned.
Even if you are able to find one that involves coursework online only, you need to check with the Board rules and regulations mandated by the State with which you hold your license. It would be a shame to fork out the money for an online program, only to find that your state will not recognize it.
Good Luck!
