Hello fellow Nurses,
I am a recent Practical nursing graduate. I received my LPN last week. I am currently looking for an LPN position in either pediatrics or home health. I have already interviewed with 2 companies just waiting on my background and references. I live in Georgia and having difficulty finding good nursing agencies in the Metro Atlanta Area. If anyone could be so kind to point me in the right direction, I would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Ms. LPN

If you are talking about private duty, it's very dangerous to do that as a new grad. Especially peds, where kids crash faster. Check out the PDN forum to see. It's much better to get experience in a facility. And PDN agencies will tell you anything to get a warm body with a license. Don't expect more than a few hours of orientation.

Might want to repost in AN's Georgia Nursing forum for local hiring info.
