LPN night programs in NC

U.S.A. North Carolina

Published

Does anyone know about any schools that offer a LPN course in North Carolina at Night. I currently have a fulltime job and could only take classes at night.

Specializes in Case mgmt., rehab, (CRRN), LTC & psych.

Moved to the North Carolina Nurses forum with the purpose of increasing the rate of replies.

Fayetteville Technical Community College offers the Practical Nursing Program in the evening. The classes start at 4 p.m. till about 9p.m. the first semester then change to 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

I worked full time when I was in that program.

Are you in the healthcare field now?

How did you like the program Aguirre? Do you know how it compares to any others now that you are done and are working with other LPNs?

I liked the program very much. The instructors were very knowledgeable, they have been nurses for a long time, and had a lot of advice to give.

while in the program, you have to take a math test each semester. If you pass the 1st time, great, if not you have 2 more times to test, but if you don't pass the math test, you will be dropped from the program.

The other thing is you have to be responsible, they don't spoon feed you. You have to put the time in and work. There is a lot of reading, keeping up is the thing to do.

where in NC are you located?

ECPI in charlotte definitely has a wonderful night program... Where are you?

Thanks- good to know the education is good here unlike Faye State's current issues. Hopefully I can get in so I can have a program nearby as opposed to driving out to Smithfield or Southern Pines or Lumberton.

I will be moving to Fayetteville from NYC before the summer is out.

I live in greenville nc and I am looking for a LPN program offered at night. Are there any other schools besides fayetteville tech in nc. Thanks
