I would do ALOT of research, in my area LPNs are limited to nursing homes and home health after they get some experience, larger areas may still be hiring LPNs for hospital positions. It's a hard market for any new grad down here.
Nursing homes and home health is just fine cause i'm still starting I just want to have as much experience as I can get. I want to do baby steps first cause I know its really hard to get into the hospital. Where in Florida are u?
I am in Highlands county, if I were you, I would try for a nursing home instead of home health since you are a new grad, I really don't recommend home health for a new grad whether it's LPN or RN, I did home health as a 2nd job for a while and relied alot on my med/surg skills every day, various wound care dressings, medication questions, intake assessments etc. Nursing homes usually have a fair amount of wound care and such, maybe a larger facility with assisted living as well as skilled nursing. Good luck.

Hi fellow Nurses
I'm a new grad and will be moving to Florida. Do you know what part of FL is opening some opportunities for new grads?
