I was wondering how long it takes to get placed into the LPN program. I submitted my application in March and I have the worst anxiety about it. How long do I have to wait to get placed and how long until I know when I start the program? Thanks

What do you mean by bc and ucds? Yeah it's sorry if fast paced but completely reasonable. I study a few times a week for a total of several hours and I'm good. We're also in clinicals now and those are once a week for 12 hours which are pretty awesome too. The have two start times a year, August and January for a day program or evening program. I'm in the day program. For the first three weeks, we had class three times a week for 8 hours a day then gradually progressed down to twice a week for only 4 hours a day. Our clinicals are about 8 weeks long on a day they give you (could be any day) at a skilled nursing facility and then for two weeks after that we have clinical rotations at the buckeye jail. That's the first semester. I'm not sure what the second semester will be like though. Gotta make it through this one haha

That's so cool are your clinicals in the weekends? And I'm sorry I was asking the process for the background check and urine drug screen

Oh gotcha, the drug screen is random so you don't know when it'll happen, and the background check must be purchased before orientation.

Oh yeah, clinicals for me are in Sunday. I started mine on 10/2 and they last until 11/20.

How much did it cost? And they give you the information for it right? What kind of material do you recommend to start preparing

Do you have materials i can use to prepare for next semester?

I have the text. I can sell it to you way cheaper than what I bought it for!

I have the book i mean the material you guys went over in second semester so i can start reviewing, i finished first semester the 17th of may :)

I had sent you an email a while back as well

Hey! What month were you finally offered placement for the Spring Cohort last year? I hope that I get in since I didn't get in last semester but I haven't heard anything. I was hoping I would know by now. í ½í¸

Any word on the November 2017 LPN evening cohort about placement for the new class? I rec'd a letter in the Spring telling me we (I) should be hearing from them in October 2017..anyone else?

I haven't heard anything yet, but was told acceptance emails for Spring of 2018 will be going out in late October/November of 2017. When did you apply?
