I am a LPN student. I am a member of NAPNES. I joined in December .
tntech, glad to hear you've joined your professional association. Tell me what you expect an association should be doing. This may be a little harder for a student, but if you have thoughts, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

For one thing I know for sure is: (1). to make my soon to be profession respected and to be taken seriously by other professionals. That is what I hope I and other SPN and LPN can bring to the table. What I expect from my assoicates is to keep me abreast with up coming changes or advances in this profession. Just for starters.

Well put tntech1. While it is difficult to do much volunteering when you're a student, I hope you will consider being part of the solution and in addition to being a member, consider serving on our committees or boards.

I'm new to this but I'd like to ask all the LPNs and LVNs that use this service to tell me what you think or know about LPN/LVN nursing associations. Tell me things like do you belong to one, if so, which; if you don't why you don't. You can be honest, if it's money, it's money. If you don't know what they do, say so. The National Association for Practical Nurse Education and Service is anxious to provide you with the type and quality of services you want. This is a great way to help us help you.
