I am new grad from a LVN in California. My husband got out of the military and we move back to Connecticut. I was employ in California but it was a short time before we move back. I applied to many job and have gotten just a few reply. I transfer my licensed to Connecticut LPN. It is very frustrating as we move back to Connecticut and cannot find employment. Does anyone work in LTC, doctors office, school, rehab, substance abuse facility, or anywhere that is hiring LPNs and is willing to train them?. I will work any shift, any days, and I am willing travel around Connecticut. I am living in Manchester, Connecticut if that help. I would greatly appreciate any replies or help! Thank you!
If you're looking for an office type setting try Prohealth Physicians, Eastern CT health network, Middlesex hospital, Western CT health network or Hartford Healthcare.
Athena Healthcare you actually have a better shot in Mass. Try the VNAs I know Yale is looking for two part time LPNs. Western CT Health Newtwork hires LPNs over MAs for MA positions
If you are interested in psychiatric nursing the state of CT department of corrections hires LPNs quite frequently, that job role will deal with psychiatric patients as well.
