How long did it take you to receive your LPN license?

Did you name appear on the state boards website first or did you receive you actual license then your name appeared on the website?

Thanks, Im from California waiting on my license number. I know i just recently passed but Im soooo ready to start working and helping the ones in need.

My name hasen't showed up yet so im still waiting!!!!!!! But i am so blessed and happy that I passed thats all that matters :balloons: :balloons: :lol2:

Hello, hello!

I'm such an eager beaver and I couldnt resist. I called the BVNPT and they told me that my check has been processed. I asked when I should expect to see my name posted and they said "to give it a week." Sooooo, a week it is!

I'm can't wait to get the official license! And to see my name online! :monkeydance:

Has anyone heard any news? Or has anyone's name appeared yet?

Tell me about it! It is quite a struggle here in California. The wait is just unbearable and rediculous. I am a very patient guy and I just can't believe I'm loosing my cool. I mailed my check since may 9th and it has been 2 weeks. I called them today and they said the average waiting time is 3 to 4 weeks. I mean haven't I waited enough. I failed twice and now that I finally pass I am so excited to recieve my license so I can start to work. I think this issue should be resolved here in California. I think they should hire more people. It is not fair for us here in this great state of california to be tortured like this. I think they should bring in the quick results and an online payment for the license. Thats all I have to say.;)

Same here! I just checked it and my name is up WITH a license number! :lol2: It's official guys, we're LVN's! Yayyy! I'm so happy for the all of us! I'm excited to see the actual license with my name on it! Woooohooo! :balloons: Congrats to all of us! We did it!

I had my name and license number appear on my state board's website first, within 24 hours. I got my license within 48 hours by snail mail USPS.

I took the test a couple of weeks ago, and still have not received my license yet. its been two weeks and no one can tell you anything. It sucks here too in Arizona.:angryfire

Hi everybody! I'm a new member and I just want to ask if ever I could work as an LPN/LVN in the USA can I petition my family? Currently I'am still here in the Philippines. I really wanted to work already but I cannot leave my 8mos old baby and my husband so I do appreciate if anyone could inform me on the possibility of bringing them with me. Thanks a lot for the help.
