Id like to become an lactation consultant, but can I do this with my LPN?
Anybody know?

You may wish to ask this question over on the Ob/Gyn Forum. Perhaps some of the L&D and postpartum nurses over there have LPN lactation consultants working at their hospitals and birthing centers, and therefore could answer your question accurately. Yes. Being an RN is not a requirement for certification as a lactation consultant.

Yes, the LPN can become a lactation consultant. You can also be certified as a breastfeeding counselor (CBC):

You don't even have to be a nurse to be a lactation consultant, though it helps IMO. I see sirI already beat me to posting the ILCA website though. :)
