LPN jobs Vancouver???

Hello Everyone!

I am moving to Vancouver BC in May and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions of where I can apply for jobs? I have applied to Vancouver Coastal Health and Fraser Health but have heard nothing back. Does anyone know of any private long term care facilities that might be hiring? I have over 2 years of experience in that area as well as some experience on a Surgical unit. I will be living in Burnaby so hopefully I can find something in that area...

I am starting to get worried :(

Hi :)

Although I am still an RN student... I do know that Fraser Health has no room for LPNs at the moment. Hence why they are pushing RNs to specialize.. and then the LPNs work as a team with the RNs.

I live near abbotsford (40 mins in the fraser valley, from vancouver), and i know if you go online to the fraser health website you can see avaliable jobs and openings...

Maybe try for residential care? I know the Mission ECU i was doing a clinical rotation at was short LPNs.
