LPN jobs in L&D??

I'm a recent LPN graduate and I would really love to work in Labor & Delivery. Does anyone know of places that offer LPN jobs in L&D? I'm currently in Tennessee and haven't seen any LPN's that work in this area, but I'm about to move to Iowa/Illinois.

Did you not research the LPN employment market before enrolling in an LPN program? Due to issues with scope of practice, the vast majority of hospitals in the U.S. no longer hire LPNs into L&D. However, a very small number of facilities utilize LPNs in postpartum.

My sister has worked in L&D most of her 30+ year career and is currently the L&D/postpartum nurse unit manager. We've discussed this in the past and they only hire RN's for L&D for these reasons.

You could apply as a surgical technologist (Nurse in your case) the hospital i work for hires LPNs to scrub
